Bracken Hanuse Corlett ====>>:. is a mixed blood - multimedia artist hailing from the Wuikinuxv and Klahoose Nations. He cut his artistic gums working in the live performance industry ten years ago and has moved into digital and visual arts. In the past he has worked as a News writer for Redwire Magazine and also did time for the Indigenous Media Arts Group and the Native Youth Artists Collective. He is a graduate of the En’owkin Centre of Indigenous Art and is currently finishing his Fine Arts Degree at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, studying Painting, Sound and Film. For the last two and a half years he has also studied and trained in Northwest Coast Native carving and design with acclaimed Heiltsuk artists Bradley Hunt and his sons Shawn Hunt and Dean Hunt. He has exhibited and/or performed in galleries and on stages in Vancouver, the Okanagan, Ottawa, Saskatchewan, Oregon and Chicago.
